Privacy Policy

The study is run by Mathias Nana, a DBA candidate at the International School of Management, Paris, under academic supervision. Questions and data requests go to info@noluggs.com.

Account details: your name, email, country, city and date of birth.

Fit and style details you enter: gender, standard size, body measurements, foot length and style preference.

Trip details: origin and destination, dates, travel class, chosen activities, delivery choice and any hotel or address you enter, and your outfit selections and returns.

Generated content: the outfit descriptions and images the app creates for your trip.

Usage analytics: in-app events (screens viewed, tasks started and completed, features used) recorded with a session identifier and, when you take part through Prolific, your Prolific participant id. We do not collect payment details, because no real payment is taken.

Sharing a trip on the community feed is optional and off unless you turn it on, for one trip from your booking confirmation or for all trips in your profile. Your card shows your current first name and last initial, the month you joined, the number of trips you shared, the outfits booked on them, your latest shared trip (route and month) and the carbon saved on those trips. You can unshare any trip at any time. The community totals count all trips anonymously, and your position among savers on the carbon page is visible only to you.

After a returned trip you can post a review: a rating, optional text, the name you choose to show and an optional photo. Reviews are checked before they appear and are shown publicly with that name and the destination city. You can ask us to remove your review at any time at info@noluggs.com. Quotes shown under "From NOLUGGS research sessions" come from anonymized academic research sessions and identify no one.

To create your personalised outfits, run the trip and return flow, and to analyse how people use the prototype for the research study. Analytics are used in aggregate to evaluate the design; they are not used to advertise to you.

For study participation and analytics we rely on your consent, given when you join the study. For running the core app features you ask for, we rely on performance of the task you requested. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Your rights).

We use a small set of service providers strictly to run the prototype: Supabase (database, authentication and image storage), Lovable Cloud and its AI gateway (to generate outfit text and images), and Open-Meteo (weather by destination, no personal data sent). If you have consented to marketing analytics, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and Meta may also process usage data; the research telemetry above does not depend on these.

The app uses first-party browser storage to keep you signed in and to hold your trip in progress. See the Cookie Policy for details.

Study data is kept for the duration of the research and its academic review, then deleted or anonymised. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, and to withdraw from the study, by emailing info@noluggs.com. Withdrawing will not affect you in any way.

Some providers process data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on the providers' standard safeguards for international transfers.

NOLUGGS is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
