NOLUGGS is a research prototype built for a doctoral (DBA) study at the International School of Management, Paris. It is not a commercial service, it does not sell or ship clothing, and it takes no real payment. This document is provided for transparency during the study and is not legal advice.

This explains the cookies and similar browser storage NOLUGGS uses.

Essential storage

We use first-party browser storage to keep you signed in (your authentication session) and to hold your trip in progress as you move through the steps. The app needs this to work; it is not used for advertising.

Research analytics

In-app research events are recorded to our own database with a session identifier (and, for Prolific participants, a Prolific id). This is first-party and does not rely on third-party advertising cookies.

Optional marketing analytics

If you consent, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager and the Meta pixel may set cookies to measure general visits and referrals. These are optional and separate from the research; declining them does not affect your use of the app or the study.

Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential storage may sign you out or interrupt a trip in progress.
